Introduction
Your Responsibilities and Duties
- Independent development of analog and digital circuits in collaboration with other R&D teams and customers
- Active participation in the conception and device architecture of new products as well as maintenance and enhancement of existing devices
- Creation of circuit diagrams as well as independent PCB layout design and/or collaboration with external service providers
- Commissioning, testing, approval, series introduction, and support of hardware components
- Keeping requirements, specific constraints, and feasibility aspects in focus at all times
- Contributing your area of expertise constructively within interdisciplinary teams consisting of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Implementation of system integration and verification, as well as execution of verification and qualification tests at device level
- Support of prototype and series production for devices and assemblies
- Definition of production acceptance tests
Your Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field
- Professional experience in Research & Development as a developer or development engineer, preferably in an engineering-related environment
- Solid knowledge in the conception, development, evaluation, and optimization of complex analog and digital circuits (Altium)
- Hands-on laboratory experience and confident handling of measurement equipment
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Low-noise analog electronics and signal analysis in the MHz range (e.g. op-amps, ADCs, DACs, filters, etc.)
- High-speed interface signal integrity (SI) design and debugging (e.g. USB 2.0/3.0, LVDS, etc.)
- Analog control engineering
- Low-noise, linear high-voltage amplifiers for capacitive loads (piezo amplifiers, up to 1 kV)
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Enjoyment of solving challenges collaboratively within a team
- Enthusiasm for implementing technologically sophisticated products
- An independent, structured, and detail-oriented way of working
