Development and integration of new features, modules, and sensors into microscopy systems
Evaluation of overall system performance across mechanics, optics, electronics, and software
Analysis of customer requirements, execution of laboratory verifications, and validation of new use cases
Close collaboration with the Application Lab, Software, Electronics, Mechanics, and PMO teams
Support during production transfer and industrialization (design for assembly, documentation)
Troubleshooting, functional optimization, and stability analysis at the system level
Support of new system variants from prototype phase through to series production
Completed degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, optics/photonics, or a related field; a PhD is a plus
Experience with high-precision measurement or microscopy systems (AFM, SNOM, optical methods)
Know-how in application development, system integration, or industrialization of complex instruments
Basic understanding of software APIs, SDK structures, and UI/UX concepts
Strong customer and application focus, with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to software, production, and application teams
Hands-on mindset, deep technical understanding, and willingness to test and optimize systems in practice
Confident written and spoken communication skills in English
