Was Dich erwartet
  • Berichterstellung und -pflege: Du bist verantwortlich für die Erstellung und Pflege von Berichten und Dashboards, die unseren Fachbereichen als Grundlage für fundierte Entscheidungen dienen. Dabei nutzt Du bestehende Berichtssysteme und bringst neue Ideen für innovative Lösungen ein.
  • Entwicklung und Implementierung von Data Warehouse- und BI-Lösungen: Auf Basis der Anforderungen unserer Fachbereiche baust Du unternehmensweite BI-Lösungen auf und setzt diese um. Dabei arbeitest Du vor allem mit SQL, Power BI, MS Reporting Services oder führst neue Plattformen oder Technologien ein.
  • Eigenverantwortliche Umsetzung von BI-Projekten: Du berätst Mitarbeitende, Führungskräfte und die Geschäftsleitung bei der Implementierung aussagekräftiger KPIs und Reports. Von der Anforderungsanalyse bis zur Implementierung im Projektrahmen übernimmst Du die volle Verantwortung.
  • Datenbank- und ETL-Management: Du entwickelst und verwaltest unsere Datenbanken und Datenmodelle, optimierst die Abfrageperformance und überwachst die ETL-Strecken. Dabei stellst Du sicher, dass die Datenqualität und -integrität gewahrt bleiben und implementierst notwendige Sicherheits- und Zugriffsmechanismen.
  • Etablierung von Reporting-Standards: Du führst unternehmensweite Reporting-Standards ein und sorgst dafür, dass sie konsequent eingehalten werden.
  • Schulung und Support: Du schulst unsere Endnutzer im Umgang mit den BI-Tools und stehst ihnen bei Fragen und Problemen unterstützend zur Seite.  
  • Steuerung externer Dienstleister: Du koordinierst und steuerst externe Dienstleister, die in unsere Projektrealisierungen eingebunden sind, und sorgst für einen reibungslosen Ablauf.
Was Du mitbringst
  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium in (Wirtschafts-) Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation und bringst bereits mehrere Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Business Intelligence mit.
  • Deine fundierten Kenntnisse in MS-SQL, der Entwicklung von ETL-Prozessen, der Performanceoptimierung von Abfragen sowie in Sicherheitsmechanismen und der Administration von BI-Anwendungen machen Dich zu einer echten Expertenperson. Auch im Data Warehouse Design fühlst Du Dich zu Hause.
  • Du hast ein gutes Verständnis von Business-Intelligence-Lösungen und idealerweise bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit Power BI gesammelt.
  • Deine ausgeprägten Fähigkeiten in der Anforderungsanalyse, Datenanalyse und -Visualisierung ermöglichen es Dir, Projekte eigenverantwortlich und erfolgreich durchzuführen.
  • Mit Deiner starken Beratungs- und Servicekompetenz überzeugst Du auf ganzer Linie. Du drückst Dich exzellent in verhandlungssicherem Deutsch aus und verfügst über fundierte Englischkenntnisse.
  • Du hast Freude daran, komplexe Sachverhalte und Daten zu analysieren. Gleichzeitig bist Du motiviert, bestehende Lösungen zu pflegen und aktiv an zukunftsweisenden Entwicklungen zu arbeiten.

Your Responsibilities and Duties
  • Report Creation and Maintenance: You are responsible for creating and maintaining reports and dashboards that serve as a basis for well-informed decisions across our departments. In doing so, you use existing reporting systems and contribute new ideas for innovative solutions
  • Development and Implementation of Data Warehouse and BI Solutions: Based on the requirements of our departments, you build and implement company-wide BI solutions. You primarily work with SQL, Power BI, and MS Reporting Services, and you introduce new platforms or technologies where appropriate
  • Independent Execution of BI Projects:You advise employees, managers, and the executive board on the implementation of meaningful KPIs and reports. From requirements analysis through to implementation within project frameworks, you take full responsibility
  • Database and ETL Management: You develop and manage our databases and data models, optimize query performance, and monitor ETL processes. You ensure data quality and integrity and implement necessary security and access mechanisms
  • Establishing Reporting Standards: You introduce company-wide reporting standards and ensure they are consistently adhered to
  • Training and Support: You train our end users in working with BI tools and provide support with questions and issues
  • Management of External Service Providers: You coordinate and manage external service providers involved in our project implementations and ensure smooth operations
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • You have a degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification and already bring several years of relevant professional experience in the field of Business Intelligence
  • Your in-depth knowledge of MS SQL, ETL process development, query performance optimization, security mechanisms, and BI application administration makes you a true expert. You also feel at home in data warehouse design
  • You have a solid understanding of Business Intelligence solutions and, ideally, already have experience working with Power BI
  • Your strong skills in requirements analysis, data analysis, and data visualization enable you to manage projects independently and successfully
  • With your strong consulting and service orientation, you impress across the board. You express yourself excellently in business-fluent German and have a solid command of English
  • You enjoy analyzing complex issues and data. At the same time, you are motivated to maintain existing solutions and actively contribute to forward-looking developments
