Introduction
attocube systems Inc, the US sales & support representative of Germany-based attocube systems AG, is looking for a talented Customer Success and Installation Engineer to join our team. As Customer Success and Installation Engineer you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a dynamic team of sales and engineering professionals. 

In this role you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our clients' success with our novel microscopy and spectroscopy instruments. You will collaborate closely with our customers to guarantee seamless product installations and provide ongoing support to meet their unique needs. You'll also have the opportunity to work with our product & development teams to provide customer feedback and shape the future of our products and services.
Your Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead Nanoscale Analytics product installations, configurations, and system integrations for our valued customers 
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact and trusted advisor 
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely resolutions, and offer comprehensive training to users 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams to relay customer feedback and drive product enhancements 
  • Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base to empower customers and internal teams. 
  • Special projects as assigned 
Your Skills and Qualifications
Education: 
  • Minimum a master’s degree in experimental condensed matter physics, engineering, or a related field
Work Experience: 
  • Professional work experience in technical support, customer success, or field engineering roles 
Knowledge & Skills: 
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously to manage ongoing projects effectively
  • Organized, efficient and Ability to work under time constraints
  • Detail oriented, Self-motivated, and trustworthy
  • Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn about related products and customer needs
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations and support as needed (up to 30% of time) 
  • Willingness to spend initial 3-6 months for on-boarding / training at HQs in Munich, Germany 
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), communication tools and CRM software
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to fluently write and speak English
  • Knowledge of the German language a plus
